Travel and photos China
I arrived in Shanghai, China, for a two-week business trip. It was the first time I'd visited the country and I was very excited to discover its culture and cuisine (also check out our photo reportage japanese cuisine).
On my first day, I visited one of the country's largest manufacturing plants. It was impressive to see how advanced and organised Chinese industry is. I also had the opportunity to meet the company's executives and discuss possible future collaborations.
The next day, I visited several shopping centres and was surprised by the quantity of brand-name products available at very competitive prices. I also had the opportunity to try a number of typical local dishes, such as Peking duck and fried noodles. The food was absolutely delicious.
On the third day, I visited Shanghai's old town and was fascinated by the architecture and history of the area. I also had the opportunity to do some shopping in the lively streets of the district and negotiate the price of a few souvenirs.
The rest of my trip was just as exciting, with visits to many historical and cultural sites, as well as very productive business meetings. I returned home with new ideas and contacts, ready to pursue new opportunities for collaboration with China.
In a nutshell, my business trip to China was a very enriching experience and I hope to have the opportunity to return to this fascinating country in the future.
